This post was originally shared at Everyday Art, but I'm sharing it again here today as I wait for baby E to make his appearance!
If you are a regular reader, you know I'm currently expecting baby number five (in less than 15 days! EEK!!)
I've been wanting to make the new baby something special and as you can imagine, being the 5th baby means I don't need a lot. Even so, I did want a special place for baby in our room and I've had a vision of a unique baby mobile from the start.

Here's what you'll need...
This first step is optional...
In my case I didn't want the chrome finish on the photo mobile, so I chose to spray paint it in a metallic finish (Flat Chestnut by Rust-Oleum). I found my mobile on Amazon for $11.00!
The rest is easy!
Then hang it!
I couldn't decided how I liked the arrows...
all willy nilly....
...or pointing down...
Either looked great hanging over my the beautiful heirloom cradle my dad made!
Such a simple project and I love the results!!
I have a few other things I would like to do to the "baby space" in our room and I will have the tutorial for the baby blanket later this week!
