Welcome!
If you are new here, I think my Christmas tour will give you a lot of insight into what my "style" is...
a little western and
a lot of vintage...
I'm pretty traditional- Tradition! ( Fiddler on the Roof, anyone?)
I am all about using what I have and I rarely buy a lot of new trendy stuff for Christmas decor. This year I think I have about $48 into Christmas purchases- and that's INCLUDING the tree!
I also love to create my own decorations when I can- like this Christmas sign I made for a craft show last season!
Lets head inside...
( you gotta know that I am literally shaking in my boots right now - I've never done a Christmas tour before!)
Entry:
My favorite piece is my maple syrup burlap bag...
Living Room:
I love fur, cable knit and deer!
Our tree is a little glitzy and a little tacky (normally I do a separate tree for all of our funky funny ornaments, but my husband forbid it this year! What a turd!)
I also used some grain sacks and burlap as a makeshift tree skirt.
Fireplace:
I changed up my mantle a bit from my Blue Christmas one, switching out the chalkboard for vintage mirror...oh, and see that green stocking...I made it for my son last year! I will have the tutorial on the blog tomorrow!
Transition to Dining:
Our old bull got a little decoration too!
Dining Room:
I love this little vintage angel from my Great- grandmother!
Oh, and you have to meet our elf ( no name yet!)...he is vintage 1960's!
Thank you so much for taking the tour!
