One Chair 3 Ways

I first shared this post at The Turquoise Home!
Sharing it again here in case you missed it!

Today I am sharing with you this little vintage chair that I scored for just $30! Some would probably call it "granny chic". Its bold. Its floral. Its a lot of chair in a little package. In fact if you follow me on Instagram you probably saw when it went up against Kim Kardashian in a "who wore it better" contest... Kim K vs. The Chair.
Oh, Joan Rivers would be SO proud!
I say the chair won hands down!!
I think you either LOVE it or HATE it....and I'm in love with it!

I thought I would put some inspiration boards together so you can see what my vision is for the chair and how it can work in a room, specifically my little girl's room! Having a new house means I can re-imagine her space and I have lots of ideas! Hopefully you can help me narrow it down.

Room #1:

To give the floral chair all the attention, I chose to keep the rest of the room whites and cream. A tone on tone stenciled/wallpaper treatment will provide some interest to the all white pallet. The colors of the accessories are pulled from the colors in the chair, albeit in much softer tones. I adore the vintage petticoat lamp (just not the price tag...DIY maybe?)

Room #2:

The floral chair has lots of color, but the least obvious color is the blue. It is just an accent in the chair, so I decided to play it up. I love the wallpaper/stencil, the huge blue tufted headboard and the pink and blue bedding. Gold accents are an added surprise.

Room #3:

In the third room I went even bolder. Using mainly the greens and pinks from the chair and a mix of patterns in varying sizes. To keep the room from being too overwhelming, I kept the walls neutral and the bedding white. Bold accents balance out the bold colors in the chair.

So what do you think?

Do you have a favorite?
One?
Two?
or Three?
