Playhouse Makeover {before}

Last week I spilled the beans that a big makeover was in the works...or should I say little makeover?

My mom and I are giving the playhouse an all new look!

Today I am sharing the before pictures!
The outside has been done for a few years and is absolutely adorable!
The whole thing was originally a hot tub cover that sat against the main house. We moved it down the hill and turned it into the playhouse.

My dad built the deck, trellis, put in a real window and added the shingles. I painted the chimney a few years ago to look like stone.

I love how the foliage is slowly taking over the trellis...it creates a secret garden cottage feel. 

Something this cute should have an inside to match, don't you think?

(keep in mind this is after a week of 4 kids playing pretty hard...)
