Today is the DAY!!
I get to unveil the room I'm doing for the One Room Challenge!!
Drum roll....
its the entryway!
Well, to be technical its the entry and hallway to our bedroom, laundry and powder room.
It's kind of one of those areas that is lacking function and personality.
Its dark...
and boring.
I'm determined to take your eye off of those tile floors.
I already started with the biggest and most daunting change: painting the trim.
ALL OF THE TRIM.
I will share pictures next week - oooooo! The suspense!!
For now I will leave you with my idea board.
I have one small wall in the entry that will be the main focus (where the chair is sitting in the very first photo). I hope to recreate the FEELING of the board, not necessarily using the exact items. I mean, come on, this is a do it yourself blog after all, ha!
My To Do List looks something like this:
- Paint trim
- Paint doors
- Paint walls and ceiling
- Install entryway light fixture
- Install hallway light fixture
- Frame rodeo poster
- build bench
- build coat rack
- make arrow sign
- make pillows
Lot and lots of work to be done and I am so excited about it all!!
